Historical plate armor skater dress based on the field garniture of Lord Brockhurst

The Scudamore Cap Sleeve Skater Dress

Regular price $72.00 $59.00 Sale

Our Scudamore dress is based on the field armor of Sir James Scudamore, currently on view at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Sir James was a prominent Elizabethan soldier, courtier, and enthusiastic jouster; he was praised in Edmund Spenser’s Faerie Queene (published 1596) as an example of chivalry personified. Channel knightly nobility in our take on this gorgeous armor!

Our model is 5'4 and wearing a size XS.

92% Recycled Polyester, 8% Spandex
Moisture-wicking
Made in the USA

Our dresses are created with performance fibers derived from post-consumer plastics. Compared to making "virgin" polyester, these recycled yarns offset using new petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process.
