Our Maille print is based on European 4-in-1 riveted mail (colloquially, chainmail), a military staple from the Iron and Middle Ages all through the 16th century. Look closely and you'll notice that the design contains slightly off-color "maker's rings." In the Middle Ages a smith might weave a stamped ring with his insignia into a piece as a sort of signature on his work. These rings were often made of bronze or brass to differentiate from the steel links. Proudly wear your original Lorica maille wherever you go!
Our model is 5'7 and wearing a size M.

Our dresses are created with performance fibers derived from post-consumer plastics. Compared to making "virgin" polyester, these recycled yarns offset using new petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process.
