Note that our 1.0 hoodies use a 100% recycled polyester fabric that unfortunately pills easily: washing by hand and hanging to dry is recommended.
Our Kikko design is based on the eponymous style of Japanese armor most common in the Edo period. Consisting of hexagonal iron or hardened leather plates attached by chain and sewn onto a cloth lining, kikko was most commonly incorporated into suneate (greaves) and tate-eri (shoulder protection), though they could be used to reinforce other parts of the gusoku as well.
Note that our hoodies are unisex! Menfolk, order your usual size; ladyfolk may find the fit more relaxed, so size down if you'd like to opt for a closer fit.
Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Our female model is 5'1 and wearing a size XS. Our male model is 5'7 and wearing a size M.
• 40% Repreve Recycled Polyester; 35% Cotton; 12% Nylon; 8% Virgin Polyester; 5% Spandex
• Made in the USA
Our hoodies are created with performance fibers derived from post-consumer plastics. Compared to making "virgin" polyester, these recycled yarns offset using new petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process.
