Our Kikko design is based on the eponymous style of Japanese armor most common in the Edo period. Consisting of hexagonal iron or hardened leather plates attached by chain and sewn onto a cloth lining, kikko was most commonly incorporated into suneate (greaves) and tate-eri (shoulder protection), though they could be used to reinforce other parts of the gusoku as well.
Note that our hoodies are unisex! Menfolk, order your usual size; ladyfolk should size down by one or two steps..
Our male model is 5'9 and wearing a size M. Our female model is 5'3 and wearing a size XL.

Our hoodies are created with performance fibers derived from post-consumer plastics. Compared to making "virgin" polyester, these recycled yarns offset using new petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process.
